Use your Miles to request a cabin upgrade after booking your flight on Air France, KLM and selected partner airlines. Available to all Flying Blue members, cabin upgrades may include lounge access, priority boarding, seat options and more.

*On flights operated by Air France, KLM, Aircalin, and Delta Air Lines, upgrades can be booked in advance until check-in opens. For all other flights operated by SkyTeam partners you can book upgrades in advance up to 3 days before departure, subject to availability.

Where to request an upgrade

Log in to your account on our website or the Air France app, and select your booking.

By phone

If no upgrade is available online, contact customer service.

At the airport

Request an upgrade at the airport, either at the check-in desk or at the gate.

On board

Ask a flight attendant about available upgrades on Air France and KLM flights.

Yes, reward tickets can be upgraded after check-in opens. However, reward tickets are not eligible for upgrades to La Première on Air France flights.

La Première upgrades are only available to Flying Blue Platinum and Ultimate members traveling on an eligible Business cabin ticket, subject to availability. Reward tickets are not eligible for upgrades to La Première.

You will earn Miles only on the part paid using a payment method other than Miles. You will not earn Miles on the part paid with Miles.
